What you'll learn

Leave the session knowing how CFO Advisory works and where you fit

01

What a small business CFO actually does

You'll see what the work looks like each month, the repeatable system CFO Advisors follow with every client, and why business owners pay an average of $2,000 a month for this help.

02

How to start from where you are

You'll see both ways in: launching a CFO Advisory practice from scratch or adding it to your tax or bookkeeping practice. We'll also cover how to price your service and how to get started while you're still employed as an accountant.

03

How to find your first CFO clients

You'll learn where first CFO clients usually come from and why marketing yourself as a CFO is the wrong place to start.

FAQ

Questions people ask before they register

Do I need to be a CPA?

No. Our members include bookkeepers, enrolled agents, CPAs, and accountants in industry. What you can deliver for a business owner matters more than the letters after your name.

Do I need to leave my current job or practice?

No. Many professionals add CFO Advisory alongside the work they already do, and others use it to start a practice of their own. We cover both paths in the session.

Is it really free?

Yes. The training is free, and we'll tell you about our paid program at the end for anyone who wants help going further.

Will there be a replay?

Everyone who registers will receive the replay link after the session.

What do CFO Advisors charge?

The average CFO Advisory retainer we see is $2,000 a month. We'll walk through how pricing works in the session, including what shapes the fee you can charge.
